Would it be crazy to bring an IPod to Senegal?

Would it be crazy to bring an IPod to Senegal?

I'm going to senegal in a little less than 2 weeks with 15-20 kids my age (high school), with adult supervision, of course. My CD player is broken, and even if i got a new one it would be a hassle to put my music onto CDs because i buy most of my music from ITunes. But on the other hand, I would have to bring one of those electricity adapter things to charge my IPod. I'm also worried about it getting lost or stolen. Is the crime in Senegal bad enough that i shouldn't bring an IPod?

Senegal best answer:

Answer by michael
keep it hidden and you will be okay... if you advertise " rich american" you may have problems.... but that goes for anywhere, not just senegal...

cheers!
