Would stationary be good to bring to Jamaica for the kids?

Would stationary be good to bring to Jamaica for the kids?

Would pens, pencils, erasers, notebooks etc be beneficial things to bring to the kids in Jamaica?...Would it help them out at school? Or does the school supply these things? What about coloring books and crayons/markers, etc? Are items such as these hard to come by?

Jamaica best answer:

Answer by Bruce M
Yes, we always bring half a suit case full of such things with us.
The resort we go to has contacts with the schools and a girls home so getting them what we bring is as easy as handing over the bags at the front desk. One group gathered funds and handed over a number of lap top computers two years ago as well.
