What kind of shoes should I bring to Italy?

I am going to Italy this summer and I want to be comfortable yet cute the whole time. I need comfortable shoes, but I don't know which to bring. I have a pair of converse that have gel insoles and are very comfortable, but I don't know if they will be good enough for walking almost everywhere for 2 weeks! If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

Answer by SKL
I would bring your converse, as long as they're broken in, but also bring a comfortable pair of sandals to give your feet a break from the chucks and let them air out- it can be hot in Italy in summer!
Get a pair that are nice enough for a dinner out but you can also do some walking in and BREAK THEM IN before arriving :)
Here's some from Lands End that are cute and reasonably priced, plus meant for walking.
