What type of food do i feed mabuna cichlids and peacocks?

Right now i am feeding them marienland color enhancing cichlid floating pellets. And wardley advanced nutrition. I know that they are not supposed to have a lot of protine but my problem is that i have no idea what is high for them. The marienlands protine is 46.0, the wardleys is 42%. I have no idea if that is a lot for them... Can someone help me out on if this is good for them and i can keep buying it for them in the feauture. If its not can someone tell me what i schould buy them then? My biggest concern is i dont want tjem to get malawi bloat!
Thanks!!

Answer by Gary C
They would do better with a food that is higher in vegetable content and lower in protein-- especially the mbuna would.

Look for foods with a protein content of 30% or less. These will tend to have words like "veggie" and "algae" in the names.

You can also feed cooked vegetables-- peas, carrots, greens, zucchini, pumpkin, and so forth-- and fresh fruits such as tomatoes or bananas.
