What country has more casinos, Croatia or Italy?

I'm just wondering, I'm not a gambler or anything. Just yesterday I was talking with my friend and she told me that she's been to Croatia but that it wasn't that clean-too many casinos apparently. She's from Italy and she told me Italy has barley any. I'm just wondering if this is true, and another thing would you consider Croatia as a degraded country?
Croatia best answer:

no, Croatia is not degraded. it has overcome a lot since the war in the early 90s and there remain signs of that, however, it is a beautiful country.
