How would you be treated in South Korea as a foreigner?

I have a pale/white skin, Caucasian. I am learning korean because since i have learnt about the country in school, I have been fascinated by Korea. especially the history of the country like, how the Korean script was made by king Sejong the Great or history about North and South Korea and the language, and the Korean dishes. I also like Kpop, they make great music. But what really interest me is the history and language, their way of writing in blocks is very unique.
Anyway, I am planning to visit soon, so I would like to know how foreigners are treated.

I have never had a problem in Korea.
Most Koreans are polite and will certainly not be mean to you.
If you express an interest in their culture and history most will be very happy to talk to you.
