Wife sponsoring husband to get a visa in Bahrain?

Is it possible for a wife working in Bahrain to sponsor the visa of his husband? If yes, how long is the process and the validity of the visa?
I'm referring to family resident visa
Is there a minimum salary requirement?
Bahrain best answer:

Answer by Red Dragon
Yes a working wife can sponsor her husband. First, she needs to take the approval of her sponsor and provide them with a clear copy of her husband's passport. No expatriate can sponsor another expatriate in Bahrain law. The husband will also be sponsored by the wife's employer. All she has to do is to request it from the HR Department.
The whole process does not take more than one week. The visa will be valid for 30 days only renewable for a maximum of 90 days. After that the husband must leave the country.
I know all of that because I work in HR and I issue such visas for the employees all the time.

Our plane had to stop at Bahrain to refuel en route to Maldives - we were there for an hour or so. It looked fascinating from the air, but unfortunately we were not allowed to leave the airport! I was nervous of taking photos in the airport, so I made due with a T-shirt and some postcards ...
