What should i be prepared for in spain and france?

What should i be prepared for in spain and france?

I'm going to Spain and France on a school trip next summer after saving for a few years. We have translators so language will not be an issue. But I am not well versed in etiquette of Spanish and French culture is there anything I should or should not do when greeting or speaking people? Is there any warnings or advice you can give me?

France best answer:

Answer by abuela Nany
Be prepared to meet people of all kinds... (like Harry Potters "all sorts"candy...you'll have some great, and some not). Actually just be yourself. However, being courteous, and saying thank you in the local language often helps. The french are a bit stiffer when it comes to strangers and the spanish are more easy going and open. But, both countries are fantastic. You should have a marvelous time, no matter what cities you visit. I have lived in Spain now for nearly 40 years, and still have not seen everything worth visiting. As to France, where both my children live, the same can be said, a few weeks is way too short a time to see all the marvelous things, historic, architectural, and landscapes.
Enjoy your trip!
