What exactly are astroplay and Tifsport Bermuda Sod surfaces?

What exactly are astroplay and Tifsport Bermuda Sod surfaces?

I was looking up the surface of all the NFL teams' stadiums and I found all the stadiums either have grass or field turf surfaces. There were, however, 2 exceptions, as follows:

The surface for the Bills' stadium is astroplay.
The surface for the Titan's stadium is tifsport Bermuda Sod.

I don't know what these are. I just want to know if astroplay is more similar to grass or is it more similar to field turf, or if it's not similar to either. Same with Tifsport Bermuda Sod - is that more similar to grass or field turf, or is it not similar to either.

Bermuda best answer:

Answer by Jason V
Tifsport Bermuda Sod is actually a natural grass. Meaning you can plant it, and it will actually grow.

Astroplay is actually synthetic grass that is attached to a rubber and nylon fiber that is underneath. Think of it almost like a carpet, with artificial synthetic grass on top.

So, Tifsport is more similar to grass, and Astroplay is more similar to turf.
