I went to Raratonga a couple of years ago and it is a small and beautiful tropical island where you can almost always find a secluded beach to yourself. However, if you want real solitude and beauty then you must go to Aitutaki - a small island just 20km square 200 miles off the coast of Rarotonga, surrounded by 45km of spectacular lagoon. It is truly paradise...</p>
