How much it would cost me to move to Brazil as a Physical Therapist?

How much it would cost me to move to Brazil as a Physical Therapist?

I'm hoping to move to Brazil after I graduate from college and get my PT license and I was wondering how much my salary would be down there about. I would like to live somewhere near Florianopolis or Joinville so I want to know if I would be able to live comfortable. Also what do I have to do to get a job down there and if it helps if I'm trilingual, English, Spanish and Portugues?

Answer by Chefao
I think the first thing you should consider on how you plan to live legally in Brazil. You don't say where you are from but getting a visa would be the first step and if you are not Brazilian or Portuguese then your chances are very slim. Marrying a Brazilian or having a child in Brazil are the easiest ways to remedy this but I would certainly not suggest these life changing steps simply to live in Brazil. Being trilingual is a great bonus but the field of Physical Therapy will not qualify you above and beyond that of a Brazilian in order for an employer to sponsor your visa and offer you a job. Just won't happen. Other than that - Physical Therapists make a salary that is equivalent to what they make in your homeland, wherever that may be.
