<strong>Burundi best answer:</strong>
<p><i>Answer by morpheus8250</i><br/>First, it's 'been killed' not 'bin killed'.
Second, the answer is 'almost too many to count'. There's hardly a country in Africa which hasn't had a violent coup at some stage, and often there have been many conflicts and civil wars.
Mahmud Fahmi Nokrashi, Prime Minister of Egypt (1948); Sylvanus Olympio, first president of Togo (1963); Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Prime Minister of Nigeria (1966); Richard Ratsimandrava, President of Madagascar (1975); François Tombalbaye, President of Chad (1975); William R. Tolbert, Jr., President of Liberia (1980); Anwar Sadat, President of Egypt (1981); 1Ahmed Abdallah, President of Comoros (1989); Mohamed Boudiaf, President of Algeria (1992); Melchior Ndadaye, President of Burundi (1993); Agathe Uwilingiyimana, Prime Minister of Rwanda (1994); Laurent Kabila, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (2001) to name a few.
And that doesn't include the vast number of minor ministers, opposition politicians, political activists, etc. who've been killed off in Africa over the years.</p>
