Can a marine biologist specializing in sharks thrive in Australia?

How can I become a marine biologist in Australia, and a successful one specializing in sharks? Is there even a mere chance of me being successful?!
Thanks.

Answer by Billybean
In order to get into Australia in the first place, number one requirement will be a recognised qualification (Degree etc) in marine biology followed by a period (2yrs or so) of verifiable work in that field.
Alternatively, you could ( apply to) enrol in an Australian University as an international student and do your degree here. This would probably enable you to gain employment here in your chosen field if indeed your chosen field actually exists in the Australian jobs market..
Your success or otherwise will depend on your own personal qualities and attributes.
