Can Barbados Blackbelly ewes be breeding sheep?

Can Barbados Blackbelly ewes be breeding sheep?

I mean, Can you use their hair to show at stock shows and keep them? Because I want a Barbados Blackbelly ewe not a ram, and i want to keep her but i dont have the land to start a flock.
So can you keep a Barbados Blackbelly ewe for its hair only or is it impossible?

Answer by Cris W
I don't quite understand your question- it's difficult to breed sheep without winding up with more than one sheep! And sheep are miserable if kept alone- you need at least two, as they are herd animals. The second one needn't be a ram; it can be a wether or another ewe.

As fas as showing, their hair is not useful, so they are not shown in fiber classes. They are shown in meat sheep classes.
