booking through a travel agent or do it online myself?

I am going to go to Sandals in St. Lucia (sometime between December and March) Do you think it would be best to book through a travel agent or book it myself online? What are the advantages of using a travel agent?

St.Lucia best answer:

Answer by Girlieq3
The advantage of a travel agent is that they will take care of the details and think of alot of things you normally wouldn't. It's quick for them and they usually know the rules and regulations best. BUT they are much more expensive. A friend who's travelled before or a good website will likely help and you can do it yourself, but if you don't mind paying, go through the travel agent because you know nohting will get left out.
