What is the best University to study spanish in Spain?

What is the best University to study spanish in Spain?

My husband would like to study spanish in Spain but does not know which college and which town to choose. We would like to move to Spain from the US in about a year with our two little children. We are looking for an affordable place to live and also a college that is affiliated with the University of Michigan if there's one. Please help.

Spain best answer:

Answer by Amber Marie
Colleges are not affiliated with each other. To study Spanish, the best way to go is ot a University, but a language school. A University abroad is just like a University here, you take classes that you have certain days a week, etc, and you learn a similar amount. At a language school you just study the language for 6-8 hours a day. This is by far the best way to learn any language, and you are totally immersed. They are also very reasonably priced. Barcelona is nice, but does not actually speak Spanish, so you want somewhere else. You can just do a Google search for language schools in Spain, big cities will have many.
