Why do we have to be reminded of The Holocaust™ everytime Israel is in the media?

And why is Israel only in the media when they invade neighbouring lands?
Israel best answer:

Answer by michael w
The Holocaust was indeed a terrible event for the Jews and I am old enough to see live news reels of the concentration camps. But perhaps we should also remember that Russia lost 20 million people in WW2 some of those in the very same concentration camps where the Jews suffered.
One would have thought that the Israelis would have learned tolerance and care to their fellow neighbours from their past terrible experience. Unfortunately the very opposite has happened.

The cornerstone for the Hadassah hospital on Mount Scopus was laid in 1934. After five years of construction, the complex, designed by architect Erich Mendelsohn, opened its doors in 1939. In the 1949 armistice with Jordan, Mount Scopus became a demilitarized enclave, and the facility was ultimately reopened in Ein Kerem, in Israeli controlled Jerusalem. As a result of the 1967 Six-Day War Jerusalem was reunited, and after a period of extensive renovation, Hadassah hospital on Mount Scopus was reopened in 1975. The campus synagogue is famous for its stained glass windows depicting the twelve tribes of Israel, created and donated in 1960 by Marc Chagall.
In 2005, the Center was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize due to its equality in treatment, its ethnic and religious diversity, and its efforts to build bridges to peace.
