What kind of shoes should I bring to Italy?

I am going to Italy this summer and I want to be comfortable yet cute the whole time. I need comfortable shoes, but I don't know which to bring. I have a pair of converse that have gel insoles and are very comfortable, but I don't know if they will be good enough for walking almost everywhere for 2 weeks! If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

Answer by SKL
I would bring your converse, as long as they're broken in, but also bring a comfortable pair of sandals to give your feet a break from the chucks and let them air out- it can be hot in Italy in summer!
Get a pair that are nice enough for a dinner out but you can also do some walking in and BREAK THEM IN before arriving :)
Here's some from Lands End that are cute and reasonably priced, plus meant for walking.

Houses on a hillside in Manarola one of the five villages of Cinque Terre in Italy. Rising above the houses are terraces with grape vines for the production of the local wine, called Sciacchetrà . At the upper right is the campanile of the Church of San Lorenzo.
