Answer by Red Dragon
About medical insurance, nowadays most companies provide this service to the employees. Otherwise, check out the names of companies below and call them to see how much it costs (prices differ depending on the type of coverage):

1. Allianz
2. Solidarity
3. Alico
4. Takaful
5. Al-Ahlia
6. Medgulf
7. BNI
8. BKIC

As for accommodation, depends if you wanna live away from work or not. BD300/- is reasonable for a 2-bedroom flat in relatively good areas. In expensive areas, similar flats reach upto BD600/- per month.

Bahrain set for 2nd industrial revolution
by Lynne Roberts on Monday, 16 July 2007
Bahrain is on the verge of a second industrial revolution with small and medium-sized businesses leading the way, a minister told Gulf Daily News.

Industry and commerce minister Dr Hassan Fakhro told the newspaper the country is facing the most significant wave of industrial development since the founding of Bapco in the 1930s.

"About 70 years ago, Bahrainis started the industrial development drive and found themselves eventually at the top of the pyramid with Bapco, the first and the most advanced industrial development in the entire Arabian region, before Saudi Aramco or any other," said Fakhro.
"If they could be trained to do that back then, then in my judgement they can achieve something similar today."

Bahrain is targeting industrial development and refocusing on practical training, which creates an "enabling environment with minimum intervention" for small and medium enterprises" he said.

According to Fakhro, projects such as the Bahrain International Investment Park and the upcoming National Institute for Industrial Training will nurture new industries and redress an imbalance between academic education and practical training.

A resurgence in the countries heavy industries is expected in the longer term, once new supplies of gas are secured from neighbouring nations, he added.
