I am planning to stay short-term (maybe 3 years). Is permanent residency the way to go? if so do you know the requirements? If not do you know of another alternative?

Likewise, I would still like to know the requirements of permanent residency for Ethiopia as I cannot find the information anywhere on the web. Thanks in advance!
