Genocide is the only word for what is going on in Sudan. After the Holocaust we swore it would never happen again. It is happening now. And we do nothing.

Beja Cultural Day was held on February 1, 2012 to raise awareness about one of Sudan's oldest people groups. Since the 2005 Port Sudan Massacre, the Beja, located in eastern Sudan, have become increasingly marginalized by Khartoum. Speakers and advocates met in the Rayburn House Office Building to discuss solutions.
