When you think about it shouldn't like 99% of us have no opinion whatsoever on most major issues?

Like there are people who are pro-Israel and people who are pro-Palestine, each stringently holding on to their point of view.
What I hate about myself and people like that is we think we know what's reaaaally going on in those conflicts and believe so strongly in something that's just an opinion and not fact.
Same with religion - you don't know for sure God exists and conversely you don't know for sure if he doesn't. And nationalists - you can't objectively prove that America or Zimbabwe or New Zealand or Tajikistan or anywhere is the greatest nation in the world.
Yet it seems like the more subjective and hence flaky an issue is, the more bound conflict will happen.

Answer by jason h
yep ur right, I think the ideas we get in our heads are sort of artificial. Maybe because aliens created us and have evolved us into what we are now, and use super technology to implant ideas into our heads, even if they are bad.
