I'm going to India in April and was wondering what to take with me. What kind of Visa or spending money? What should I pack? I will stay there one week. I never traveled before so any help would be appreciated.

One thing I enjoy in India is the degree of decoration made for any celebration - a festival, wedding, birth, even opening of a store. The folded palm leave decorations, also very common are very origami-esque. </p>
