<p><i>Answer by 360ci</i><br/>You can ship it privately. It's best to contact a broker, and in many cases it's worthwhile to pay them to do all the paperwork and procedural matters for you. FedEx offers their own brokerage service, and there are a crap load of other firms out there. If you search for US brokerage firms, you'll get plenty of options.

Length of shipping the vehicle can vary. A broker will make sure border crossing is kept to a minimum, and most customs/duty fees are paid to the broker up front saving time.</p>
