We are staying in Manama, Bahrain for our honeymoon. We are in our 50's and will be here 2 more nights. thanks for any suggestions!

<p><i>Answer by ssoeteber</i><br/>It has been a few years, so things might have changed, but I could never find a bar per se, nor even a restaurant with a liquor license.

I always had to go to a hotel and get my drinks there. Not exactly that romantic, but if you want to add the drinks portion, not much choice (other than the expats who brew their own hooch...).

There used to be a very good well-known Arabic-style seafood restaurant but was dry. Very good after dinner smoking hookahs if you like those.
