I am originally from Albania and my neighbor there, which is now about 12 years old, was born deaf and he never spoke. He spoke once which was him calling my sister. I really want to help him!! What can i do?

<p><i>Answer by Elizawhearhouse</i><br/>He can learn to "talk." But it's not like how normal people talk because he can't hear the sounds. But he will never be able to hear, if he was born completely deaf.

(By the way, everyone is born without the ability to talk ;-])

By learn to talk I mean he can try to imitate the vibrations that a persons vocal cords make when the say something. You can feel your vocal cords vibrate by touching your throat as you talk.</p>
