Does the food of Sénégal or Belgium remind you of any of the ethnic foods that you can experience in the United States?

Senegal best answer:

Answer by Speed°Madness°Flying Saucers
Senegalese food is not very common in mainstream America. However, Americans are devoted to "pommes frites" (French fries), which Belgium is quite renowned for (few Americans use mayonnaise with their french fries), and Belgium Waffles, which may not be immediately recognizable to a Belgium citizen were they to order them in a local IHOP. Belgium is also known to Americans for exquisite chocolates.

Aren't the Senegalese known for fish being a significant part of their diet?
