I am a psychiatric nurse and recently I have got RN registration from Australia. Now the job market for nurses are very poor in Australia. Hence I am planning to go to New Zealand. Can I get a RN registration in New Zealand with my current registration in Australia.

Anyway, to answer your question and assuming you are an Australian citizen or PR or that you can get a NZ work visa, the fact that you have nursing registration in Australia means that you can apply to the Nursing Council of New Zealand for registration under the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition Act (TTMRA).
