The idea would be that if the USA and/or Israel attacked Iran in October, it could create an environment where voters would feel more comfortable sending McCain to the Oval Office.

With one of their own currently in the White House, the Neo-Cons might be able to arrange this.

I know this is an EXTREMELY pessimistic theory, but do you think it could happen like this?
