Why do Indians want to study abroad when India has good education system which is also less expensive?

Why do Indians want to study abroad when India has good education system which is also less expensive?

Its reasonable if it is some program that's not available in India, but what many students want to do is just something available in India itself. Why do they spend extra money just because they are able to afford? Also job markets in many countries are same or worse than that in India.

India best answer:

Answer by ibu guru
Job markets elsewhere are in far worse shape than India's, that's for sure. India is the only large country which is actually creating new jobs in any sort of quantity.

However, Indians are exploding their population, and therein lies India's biggest problem. Too bloody many of them for even India's rapidly growing economy to absorb. Worldwide labor glut of a billion people and India is the largest single contributor to such a massive glut.

Also, phenomenal greed underlies this. Indian salaries are lower than some other places (that's the reason why India is adding such an incredible number of jobs!), and a lot of Indians see higher salaries in other places, and just plain get greedy. They neglect to consider taxes in many countries take half or more of gross pay, and costs of living far, far exceed India's costs.

They go overseas for school solely for backdoor immigration or Scam-migration, in hopes of fatter salaries and a Hollywood movie-set life. Of course, not even the entire world-economy can absorb all those Indians in the workforce. Which is why wages are dropping (in real, inflation-adjusted terms) in so many places - too many warm bodies chasing too few jobs. India alone has nearly a billion too-many people. Greed and arrogance.
