What examples of persecution did the Sloopers endure in Norway before leaving?

The "Sloopers" are Quakers and Quaker sympathizers that left Norway in 1825.I just wondering does anyone know what challenges they face in Norway.
Norway best answer:

Answer by spiffer1
In about the year 1537 Luther's theology gained primacy in Norway. Thus 'dissenters' have a long history in Norway. Norway was noted for adopting a more radical 'Lutheran' stance than other regions of northern Europe. Among the leadership who were popular arises the name Hans N. Hauge who led a group of people called Haugeans who had some affiliation with the Sloops/Quakers in terms of leaving Norway to find new homes/communities in North America.
I can find no direct evidence of physical persecution of Quakers/Sloops in Norway, however they may have wanted to move elsewhere to construct communities which had a more direct (entire) affinity with their faith.
Some names, etc. to research are:
Kleng Peerson
Enoch Jacobsen
Some works to look for are:
Rynning, Ole - America for the Information and Help of Peasant and Commoner (1838)
Barclay, Robert - Apology (he also wrote other works which affected the Quakers of Norway)
Seierstad, Dr. Andreas [Church historian of Oslo] - extensive works on the Quakers/Sloops in Norway
A topic to consider approaching is Anabaptists in Norway or Baptists in Norway as Quakers are seen as a sect within this group. In many parts of Europe Anabaptists were persecuted for their their faith.
