SelfLube is Heading to El Paso, Texas For Mexico's Supply Chain Event

Coopersville, MI (PRWEB) March 29, 2013

Mexico is seeing an up-tick in its manufacturing industry and is claimed to be the prevalent place for the automotive, medical device and aerospace sectors. By 2015 labor costs in China are expecting to be up 25%. Large corporations are looking for better alternatives and they are finding them in Mexico. The Mexico Manufacturing Supply Chain Summit will touch on this concept to help increase business in the country. SelfLube will be attending this event early this April.

The summit will be a unique opportunity for companies such as SelfLube to do business with manufacturing and maquiladora [manufacturing operations that are in free trade zones] companies in Mexico. Arranged 15 minute meetings will be scheduled so that potential buyers and suppliers can network.

This is something different than the regular trade shows SelfLube would attend. For starters, the company will be an attendee and not an exhibitor. The company is hoping to meet business representatives to discuss opportunities in becoming a supplier for its mold and die components in Mexico. Marketing Specialist/ Sales Supervisor Jordan Fifelski, who will be attending the summit explains, "Although we currently are doing business with a few companies in Mexico, we are hoping this event will help us break out even more and allow us to reach out to the heavy hitters in the industry." Back when SelfLube started in 1990, it primarily supplied components to mold, die and special machine shops in the US and Canada. "This however, is not the case anymore. We are increasing our presence internationally and Mexico is our main focus. We want everyone to know we are here and we want to help."

###

SelfLube is the leading US manufacturer of precision mold and die components such as bushings, gibs, wear strips, parting line locks, lifter slides and related items - about 8,000 standard part numbers in all, many of which are self-lubricating. The company sells directly to build shops, which results in both better pricing and better customer service. Its record for on time delivery is among the best in the industry.
