Is this the correct way to help the military get people to enlist to help Afghanistan?

Mr McCain said today more troops are needed in Afghanistan to fight so I look at every vehicle that has a "I support the troops". When the vehicle stops I request them (Parents) to send their 19 and 20 years olds to the war and make President Bush proud. However, the parents get angry with me. Why? Only trying to help the United States.

There's a difference between "I support the troops" and "I am the troops".

Not all of them necessarily want them or their loved ones out there risking their lives. That's why those people may send care packages and give donations to the troops. Don't hassle them. Hassle the people who don't support the troops at all.
