<h3>How's this idea for a free-roam video game?</h3>

OK, I was thinking it would be cool if there was a survival (and completely free-roam) game set in a country which has deserts and forests and snow and borders onto the sea.

Basically, what I was thinking, you're dropped at an airfield in the middle of the jungle, you get to choose from a selection of vehicles and you have to find your way out. I also thought it would be cool if you have only one objective and a compass. No map, you just have to find your way to your objective (eg. Get to the ship by 1100 hours on Tuesday). When you save your game, the in-game character "draws" a map of what you've discovered so far.

I envisaged it as mostly a driving game, so if you come across a city on your way to the objective, you can go to the modification shop to enhance your vehicle. I also imagined it would be mostly off road (so in the initial vehicle selection it would be hilarious to give a supercar). Dials representing petrol, water, food, heat of the car, blood oxygen level, etc. would also come in handy.

The sunsets would have to look amazing, and the world would have to be pretty big. Also, there would be various things you have to look out for (wg. wild animals, crazy drivers)

I'm planning on an Arts/Law degree at uni, so I'll probably never actually be a game dev, but if someone does come across this who is, then pleeeease make this game!
