Today she is the first lady of Britain who flew to No 10. Downing Street rather quickly than she would have expected.

Her first move after becoming the first lady of Britain, to give up her responsibilities at Smythson, did not come as a surprise at all. The first lady, who is coping with pregnancy of her third child, followed a long list of first ladies who gave up their carriers to cope with the new of way of life they were going to enjoy. After a hectic schedule which involved supporting her husband for Prime Ministerial position and a pregnancy, Mrs. Cameron finally decided to get rid of the extra responsibilities. The nation's first lady recently stepped down from her position as the creative director of Smythson, a luxury stationers brand in Britain which she turned into a must have brand for ladies in Britain from a sordid stationer which remained in the same state for about 60 years. The brand, also a favorite of the queen, was leased a new life when Mrs. Cameron was appointed its creative head. Now she will be working as the creative head of Smythson instead, working for two days/ week. Her previous salary, approximated to be around Â£400,000, was four times more than what her husband will making a year as the Prime Minister of Britain, which is Â£142,500.

Mrs. Cameron heard commenting "This is a very personal decision, which I took when my third pregnancy was confirmed. I have been considering doing this for some time now, after having to go through such hectic schedule; I decided this was the time. I have missed spending time with my children and husband and now that I will be free I can do that a lot".

She will be involved in all the areas that she was previously related to, but she will not to be directly responsible for anything.

She also quoted" I am looking forward to successfully blend my new responsibilities with my day-to-day life and hopefully have plenty of time to spend time with my family".

She is expecting to give birth sometime this summer. The baby will also hold the record of being the only baby to have born to a serving British Prime Minister in the past ten years and only the second one in past 150 years, the first being Leo Blair, back in 2000.

Mrs. Cameron, currently busy enjoying her new found bliss and attending parties with her husband, will be looked for strength by Mr. Cameron when in testing water and going by the looks of what she is capable of, she sure will bail him out.
