Lady Gaga boarded her first headlining tour, The Fame Ball Tour in 2009 after opening New Kids on the Block and Pussycat Dolls.
Rock singers like David Bowie and Queen and pop singers like Madonna and Michael Jackson are her inspirations. She is an admirer of fashion and she believes that it is an inevitable factor for her songwriting and concerts. She credits gay community for her mainstream success and supports them. She had sold over 20 million digital singles and more than four million albums across the world.
Gaga was born on March 28, 1986 as the eldest child to Italian American couple Joseph and Cynthia Germanotta in Yonkers, New York. She was set to join Juilliard School in Manhattan. But she attended a private Catholic school, Convent of the Sacred Heart. She started playing piano at the age of four. She wrote her first piano ballad at 13 and started performance at open mike nights at the age of 14. She obtained an early admission to the New York University's Tisch School of Arts at her seventeen. She schooled music and improvised her song writing skills by composing essays and analytical papers pointed on topics like art, religion and socio political order. Later Gaga left the school to concentrate more on her musical career.

The Monster Ball is designed by the Haus of Gaga for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London. Gaga announced in her official website that The Monster Ball would begin only on November 27 at Montreal due to the painstaking works and preparations.
