The Lady 101
lady
1. The Lady never loses her identity, her sense of self, her sense of achievement.
2. The Lady allows a man to be a Gentleman but is always capable without him.
3. The Lady does not have an agenda - she looks for a man to enhance her life, not control or complete her life.
4. The Lady is always elegant, calm, well-mannered and appealing.
5. The Lady does not allow the behavior of others to lower her standards.
The Lady attempts to hold good conversation, maintain her stature in public and allow herself to be fully engaged during sex; she is not phased by the outrageous side of life (although she might not wish to indulge) and she is perfectly comfortable and able when in the most austere or foolhardy company.
The Lady does not succumb to the weakness of too much alcohol or too many drugs; she is a balanced and upright individual with the ability to engage without needing to fall victim to the weakness of others.
In her dealings with men, The Lady knows exactly where her boundaries are and precisely who she is; she may dream (but she is not ruled by her dreams) and she may have goals (although she is not desperate to achieve them), but she never has an agenda with her lovers because she knows that the right person for the right time will be of the same mind and she will not have to coax or persuade them to enjoy her dreams and goals.
The Lady knows how to straddle the divide between submission and power, how to transcend weakness and ascend strength without being brash, intimidating or forceful.
The Lady is desirable and sexy without ever being available or obvious.
The Lady is a source of energy and a place of calm.
