Safest City in the United States
United States
After the latest Hurricane of Katrina and Rita on the Gulf Coast many Americans are asking themselves; "where is the safest city in the United States?" Indeed this is a good question; where is the safest city in the United States anyway? Well we are pretty certain it would not be along the Gulf Coast or in the State of Florida. Then we know it would not be in a city that the International Terrorists might attack such as a Boston, Los Angeles, Houston, NYC or Washington D.C.
Let us consider weather patters for both Hurricanes and potential nuclear fallout. Remember weather patterns start in the West or North West and move across the country and change throughout the year, but always for the most part blow from East to West. So if you live East of the West Coast you could be in trouble if a Western city such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Portland or Seattle gets nuked. Then we must consider the Fires, which are exacerbated by high winds and heat in the West. Fires have been a major issue in the West near mountains or dry plains. Then there are the East Winds in CA, which are called the Santa Ana Winds, which are hot, fast moving and dry, the worst possible conditions for fires. As we see every few years in the Southern CA mountains. Safest city in the United States? Well let us see our other choices.
So then perhaps you might wish to live on the West Coast, fairly good weather all year and the wind blows the other way. But you would want to live far from any major city on the West Coast, so perhaps North California, Southern Oregon or Olympia Peninsula West of Seattle?
Well I hate to break it to you but there are these events call Earthquakes and those areas can be prone to them as history has shown and fires as well once you get past about 30 miles from the coastal areas. Oh and forget Alaska for Earthquakes and weather. If you like Hawaii, don't forget that it sits on a Volcano. Guam has Typhoons, Puerto Rico Hurricane, so those territories are not so great either. In fact if you are really honest about it huge wildfire states include every state from Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico going west to the Pacific Ocean. So let's just forget all states West in our Study, as they are not the Safest places in the United States
While we are at it lets look at the weather of ND, SD, NE, WI, IA, IL, MN, IN, OH, MI, ME, NH, MA, VT, PA and Upstate NY as problematic for super horrific winter weather at times. Now if we look at those things called Tornadoes, we see KS, OK, MS and West Texas as playing Russian Roulette. We know that we often get flooding in AR, LA, AL, KY, PA, NJ, DE, GA, NC, SC, TN and Mississippi so lets remove them from the list too.
Back to the International Terrorist issues, we know they would love to get any major city on the Eastern Seaboard Metro Plex from Boston to DC, which limits our choices in NJ, CT, RI, NYC, MD, and Virginia. Well where is the safest place in the United States to live? Well, maybe this is why we need a Lunar Colony. That may be Safest city in the United States. We still have our flag there on the moon. Think about it.
