A community college located in Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States, Phoenix College is the oldest community college in the entire country. Brief History
Founded in 1920, the college became part of the Maricopa County Community College District in 1960. Today it stands out as the flagship campus of one of the largest community colleges systems that exists in the whole world.
Campus
Main Campus of Phoenix is in Midtown Phoenix. A downtown campus is also located in central business district of Phoenix. Main features of the campus are open fitness center, open computer facilities and numerous clubs including Amnesty International, Business Club and the Latin Dance Club.
Programs Offered
Over two hundred degrees and certificate programs are offered by the college. Major programs are biology, English and nursing. The Applied Business department at Phoenix has courses on management, marketing as well as fashion merchandising.
