The United States may have many hotspots for vacation destinations, but have you ever truly learned about them all? There are many more than you think! I'd like to dive a little deeper into the West Coast, and explore a few more places sure to bring fun and laughter to those wanting a vacation they'll never forget.
New Mexico has always been known to be one place people love to travel to, no matter what time of the year. Instead of hitting a major city, try a smaller town. Cloudcroft, New Mexico is just as amazing as any big city, but in different ways. All year round, there is something to do! The summers can be filled with cool days enjoying the wonderful mountains, a sight worth seeing. In the winters, partaking in cross-country skiing and ice-skating are a must in this unique town. If you want to indulge in more fun but out of the wilderness, take a quick trip over to the Inn of the Mountain Gods, where casinos and golf await you!
Beer is almost always essential in nearly every vacation. Why not learn a little bit about what you drink while you're drinking it? Fort Collins, Colorado is a great place to start! New Belgium Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Company, and Fort Collins Brewery are all situated in this outdoor-orientated community. Anheuser-Busch also has a major Budweiser beer-brewing operation located here, with free tours and samples, as all the breweries do! As for outdoor entertainment, Lory State Park is close, and many other fun things to see and do! Horseback riding, hiking and rock climbing are just of few of the vast good times you can have, and share with loved ones.
