Did invading Iraq set a precedent that has allowed Russia to invade Georgia?

The US invaded Iraq under false pretenses, without a UN vote and did it for political interests by the Bush Administration. Russia has done the same thing in Georgia (except for the false pretenses)

Who are we to tell Russia to stop the fighting in Georgia?

Now that the US is so engulfed in the Iraq quagmire that the US can no longer effectively deal with other global issues like the Russia/Georgia one.
